DESCRIPTION:
C1c4Tr1Z has discovered some vulnerabilities in @Mail, which can be
exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting
attacks.
Input passed to the "file" and "HelpFile" parameters in parse.php, to
the "start" parameter in showmail.php, and to the "abookview"
parameter in abook.php is not properly sanitised before being
returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML
and script code in a user's browser session in context of a vulnerable
site.
The vulnerabilities are confirmed in version 5.42 (RPM) on CentOS
using the "Simple (Any browser)" interface.
SOLUTION:
Filter malicious characters and character sequences in a proxy.
