DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in Microsoft Visual Studio, which
can potentially be exploited by malicious people to compromise a
user's system.
The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error in the Masked
Edit ActiveX control (Msmask32.ocx). This can be exploited to cause a
stack-based buffer overflow by tricking a user into e.g. visiting a
malicious website, which initializes the object with an overly long
"Mask" parameter.
Successful exploitation may allow execution of arbitrary code.
