DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in IPsec-Tools, which can be
exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).
The vulnerability is caused due to the racoon daemon not properly
deleting orphaned phase 1 handlers when acting as a responder. This
can be exploited to cause high resource consumption via invalid
packets.
The vulnerability is reported in version 0.7.1. Other versions may
also be affected.
SOLUTION:
Fixed in the CVS repository.
