DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in various Juniper Network
products, which can be exploited by malicious people to poison the
DNS cache.
The vulnerability is caused due to the products not sufficiently
randomising the DNS transaction ID and the source port number, which
can be exploited to poison the DNS cache.
The following products are affected:
* Network firewalls running ScreenOS software
* J-series routers running JUNOS Enhanced Services Software
(junos-jsr) built prior to May 23, 2008.
* Juniper switching products running JUNOS Enhanced Switching
Software (junos-ex) built prior to May 23, 2008.
