DESCRIPTION:
His0k4 has reported a vulnerability in the Brightcode Weblinks
component for Joomla, which can be exploited by malicious people to
conduct SQL injection attacks.
Input passed to the "catid" parameter in the Joomla! installation's
index.php script (when "option" is set to "com_brightweblinks") is
not properly sanitised before being used in an SQL query. This can be
exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.
SOLUTION:
Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly sanitised.
