DESCRIPTION:
Roberto Suggi Liverani has reported a vulnerability in Sugar
Community Edition, which can be exploited by malicious users to
disclose sensitive information.
Input passed to the RSS module is not properly verified before being
used to generate a cache file in the "cache/feeds" directory. This
can be exploited to disclose the content of an arbitrary file on an
affected system by passing a local path as a URL to the RSS module.
The vulnerability is reported in version 4.5.1 and 5.0.0.
SOLUTION:
Update to the latest version or apply the patch.
Sugar Open Source 4.x:
Apply patch 4.5.1j.
