DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in Imager, which potentially can be
exploited by malicious people to compromise an application using the
library.
The vulnerability is caused due to an error when using an image-based
fill on a large sample output image. This can be exploited to cause a
heap-based buffer overflow via a specially crafted image for which
the number of input channels does not match the number of output
channels.
Successful exploitation may allow execution of arbitrary code.
The vulnerability is reported in versions prior to 0.64.
SOLUTION:
Update to version 0.64.
