DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in UnixWare, which can be exploited
by malicious, local users to gain escalated privileges.
The vulnerability is caused due to an input validation error in the
pkgadd utility, which can be exploited via directory traversal
attacks.
Successful exploitation allows execution of arbitrary code with root
privileges.
The vulnerability is reported in UnixWare 7.1.4.
