DESCRIPTION:
Some vulnerabilities and a weakness have been reported in Adobe
ColdFusion, which can be exploited by malicious people to bypass
certain security restrictions and to conduct cross-site scripting
attacks.
1) Input passed via CGI variables is not properly sanitised before
being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute
arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context
of an affected site.
NOTE: This affects only ColdFusion with Windows IIS 6 installations.
2) An unspecified error can be exploited to bypass the cross-site
scripting protection for certain ColdFusion applications, where
"Application.cfm" or "Application.cfc" contains the setEncoding
function.
3) A weakness is caused due to failed log-in attempts to the admin
interface not being logged.
