DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in Mozilla Thunderbird, which can
be exploited by malicious people to potentially compromise a user's
system.
The vulnerability is caused due to an error within the handling of
external-body MIME types. This can be exploited to cause a heap-based
buffer overflow with three bytes by tricking a user into viewing a
specially crafted email.
Successful exploitation may allow execution of arbitrary code.
The vulnerability is reported in version 2.0.0.9. Prior versions may
also be affected.
SOLUTION:
Update to version 2.0.0.12.
