DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in IBM AIX, which can be exploited
by malicious, local users to cause a DoS (Denial of Service) or to
potentially gain escalated privileges.
The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error in
piox25.c/piox25remote.sh and can be exploited to cause a buffer
overflow via overly-long arguments. No further information is
available.
SOLUTION:
Apply APAR IZ13739 as soon as it becomes available.
