DESCRIPTION:
Chris Castaldo has reported a vulnerability in Appian Enterprise
Business Process Management (BPM) Suite, which can be exploited by
malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).
The vulnerability is caused due to an unspecified error when handling
packets and can be exploited to cause a DoS via a specially crafted
packet sent to port 5400/TCP.
The vulnerability is reported in version 5.6 SP1. Other versions may
also be affected.
SOLUTION:
The vendor has reportedly issued patches.
