DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in IBM Lotus Notes, which can be
exploited by malicious people to compromise a user's system.
The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error within the Lotus
1-2-3 file viewer (l123sr.dll) and can be exploited to cause a buffer
overflow by tricking a user into viewing a specially crafted Lotus
1-2-3 attachment.
Successful exploitation may allow execution of arbitrary code.
The vulnerability is reported in versions 7.0 and 8.0.
