DESCRIPTION:
A security issue has been reported in Sun Solaris, which can be
exploited by malicious, local users to cause a DoS (Denial of
Service).
The security issue is caused due to an unspecified error in the
vuidmice(7M) STREAMS modules and can be exploited to render the
console unusuable.
Successful exploitation requires access to the system console
device.
The security issue is reported in Solaris 8, 9, and 10 on the x86
platform.
