DESCRIPTION:
Avaya has acknowledged a weakness in Avaya CMS and IR, which can be
exploited by malicious, local users to cause a DoS (Denial of
Service).

The weakness is reported in Avaya CMS R12, R13/R13.1.

NOTE: Avaya IR is not configured as an LDAP client by default.

SOLUTION:
The patches from Sun are being tested by the vendor for installation
on R12 systems.

The vendor recommends that customers with R13/13.1 systems should
update to load R13.1da.g or higher.
