DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in TippingPoint IPS, which can be
exploited by malicious people to bypass certain security
restrictions.

The vulnerability is caused due to an unspecified error in the
handling of fragmented packets and can be exploited to evade
detection by the IPS.

The vulnerability is reported in TippingPoint IPS TOS versions 2.1.x,
2.2.x prior to 2.2.5, and 2.5.x prior to 2.5.2.

SOLUTION:
Update to TippingPoint IPS TOS version 2.5.2 or 2.2.5.
