DESCRIPTION:
Lostmon has discovered some vulnerabilities in ManageEngine NetFlow
Analyzer, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct
cross-site scripting attacks.
Input passed to the "alpha" parameter in
netflow/jspui/applicationList.jsp, the "task" parameter in
netflow/jspui/appConfig.jsp, the "view" parameter in
netflow/jspui/index.jsp, and the "rtype" parameter in
netflow/jspui/selectDevice.jsp is not properly sanitised before being
returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML
and script code in the administrative user's browser session in
context of an affected site.
The vulnerabilities are confirmed in version 5.0.
SOLUTION:
Do not browse untrusted web sites while being logged in to the
administrator interface.
