DESCRIPTION:
Tan Chew Keong has reported a vulnerability in Lhaca, which can be
exploited by malicious people to compromise a user's system.
The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error when processing
.LZH archives. This can be exploited to cause a stack-based buffer
overflow via a specially-crafted .LZH file with an "Extended Header
Size" value greater than 255 bytes.
Successful exploitation allows execution of arbitrary code.
The vulnerability is reported in version 1.21. Other versions may
also be affected.
SOLUTION:
Update to version 1.23.
