CRITICAL:

IMPACT:
Cross Site Scripting

WHERE:

SOFTWARE:
DotClear 1.x
http://secunia.com/product/6261/

DESCRIPTION:
nassim has reported some vulnerabilities in DotClear, which can be
exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting
attacks.

Input passed to the "post_id" parameter in
dotclear/ecrire/trackback.php and to the "tool_url" parameter in
tools/thememng/index.php is not properly sanitised before being
returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML
and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected
site.

The vulnerabilities are reported in versions prior to 1.2.6.

SOLUTION:
Update to version 1.2.6.
