DESCRIPTION:
Alexander Klink has reported a vulnerability in dproxy, which can be
exploited by malicious people to compromise a vulnerable system.
The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error in dproxy.c when
processing UDP packets. This can be exploited to cause a stack based
buffer overflow.
Successful exploitation may allow execution of arbitrary code.
The vulnerability is reported in version 0.5. Other versions may also
be affected.
SOLUTION:
Use the product in a trusted network environment only.
