DESCRIPTION:
rgod has reported a vulnerability in ThWboard, which can be exploited
by malicious people to conduct SQL injection attacks.
Input passed to the "board[styleid]" parameter within
inc/header.inc.php is not properly sanitised before being used in a
SQL query. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by
injecting arbitrary SQL code.
Successful exploitation may disclose an existing administrator's
session id, which can be used to gain access to the administration
section and can further be exploited to execute arbitrary PHP code
when templates are writable.
The vulnerability is reported in version Beta-2.84. Prior versions
may also be affected.
SOLUTION:
Apply patch or use the updated version Beta-2.84 (2007-01-16).
