SOFTWARE:
Ezboxx Portal System Beta 0.7.x
http://secunia.com/product/13261/

DESCRIPTION:
Doron P and Eyal G have reported some vulnerabilities in Ezboxx
Portal System, which can be exploited by malicious users to conduct
cross-site scripting attacks and by malicious people to conduct
cross-site scripting attacks and conduct SQL-injection attacks.

1) Input passed to the "iid" parameter in
/ezboxx/boxx/ShowAppendix.asp is not properly sanitised before being
used in an SQL query. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries
by injecting arbitrary SQL code.

2) Input passed to the "pic" parameter in /ezboxx/custom/piczoom.asp
isn't properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can
be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's
browser session in context of an affected site.

3) Input passed to the "nocatname" parameter in
/ezboxx/boxx/user-upload.asp isn't properly sanitised before being
returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML
and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected
site.

4) Input passed to the "iid" parameter in
/ezboxx/indexes/newscomments.asp isn't properly sanitised before
being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute
arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context
of an affected site.

The vulnerabilities are reported in version 0.7.6 and prior. Other
versions may also be affected.

SOLUTION:
Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly sanitised.
