DESCRIPTION:
Doz has reported some vulnerabilities in AShop Deluxe, which can be
exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting
attacks.

Input passed to the "cat" parameter in basket.php, catalogue.php and
admin/editcatalogue.php, "exp" in catalogue.php, "searchstring" in
search.php and "resultpage" in admin/salesadmin.php is not properly
sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to
execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in
context of an affected site.

The vulnerabilities are reported in version 4.5.1. Other versions may
also be affected.

SOLUTION:
Filter malicious characters and character sequences with a web
proxy.

Only grant trusted users access to the "admin" directory.
