DESCRIPTION:
DarkFig has reported a vulnerability in Ixprim Content Management
System, which can be exploited by malicious people to manipulate
data.
Input passed to the "story_id" parameter in ixm_ixpnews.php when
"file" is set to "article" is not properly sanitised before being
used in SQL queries. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries
by injecting arbitrary SQL code.
Successful exploitation reportedly requires load_file privileges.
The vulnerability is reported in version 1.2-200603171800. Other
versions may also be affected.
SOLUTION:
Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly sanitised.
