TITLE:
FreeWebshop.org Script SQL Injection and Local File Inclusion

SECUNIA ADVISORY ID:
SA22664

VERIFY ADVISORY:
http://secunia.com/advisories/22664/

CRITICAL:
Moderately critical

IMPACT:
Manipulation of data, Exposure of sensitive information

WHERE:
>From remote

SOFTWARE:
FreeWebshop.org Script 2.x
http://secunia.com/product/12481/

DESCRIPTION:
Spiked and anonymous have discovered some vulnerabilities in
FreeWebshop.org Script, which can be exploited by malicious people to
disclose sensitive information or conduct SQL injection attacks.

1) Input passed to the "name" and "pass" parameters when logging in,
and to the "prod" parameter is not properly sanitised before being
used in a SQL query. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries
by injecting arbitrary SQL code.

Example:
http://[host]/index.php?page=details&prod=[code]

2) Input passed to the "action" parameter in index.php is not
properly verified before being used to open files. This can be
exploited to read arbitrary files from local resources via directory
traversal attacks.

The vulnerabilities have been confirmed in version 2.2.1. Other
versions may also be affected.

SOLUTION:
Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly sanitised and
verified.
