DESCRIPTION:
eric basher has reported some vulnerabilities in phpMyDirectory,
which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct SQL injection
or cross-site scripting attacks.
Input passed to the "letter" parameter in alpha.php is not properly
sanitised before being returned to the user or being used in a SQL
query. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML or script code
in a user's browser session in context of an affected site or to
manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.
The vulnerabilities have been reported in version 10.4.6. Other
versions may also be affected.
SOLUTION:
Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly sanitised.
