DESCRIPTION:
viz.security has reported a vulnerability in ackerTodo, which can be
exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting
attacks.
Input passed to the "task_id" parameter in index.php is not properly
sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to
execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a logged in user's browser
session in context of an affected site.
Example:
http://[host]/index.php?cmd=edit_task&task_id=[code]
The vulnerability has been reported in version 4.0. Other versions
may also be affected.
SOLUTION:
Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly sanitised.
