DESCRIPTION:
Two weaknesses have been reported in SiteScape Forum, which can be
exploited by malicious people to disclose certain system
information.
1) Missing access restriction to the "avf.rc" configuration file can
be exploited to disclose path information of the server's webroot.
2) Different responses are returned depending on requests sent to the
"dispatch.cgi/_user/uservCard/" script. This can be exploited to
enumerate valid user names.
The weaknesses have been reported in version 7.2. Prior versions may
also be affected.
SOLUTION:
The vendor has reportedly released a patch.
Contact the vendor to obtain the necessary patch.
