DESCRIPTION:
Two vulnerabilities have been reported in phpPgAds / phpAdsNew, which
can be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting
and script insertion attacks.
1) Input passed to certain parameters in the banner delivery scripts
isn't properly sanitised before being displayed in the admin
interface. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script
code in the administrative user's browser session in context of an
affected website.
2) Input passed to the login form isn't properly sanitised before
being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute
arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context
of an affected site.
The vulnerabilities have been reported in version 2.0.7 and prior.
SOLUTION:
Upgrade to phpAdsNew or phpPgAds version 2.0.8.
