DESCRIPTION:
alexander wilhelm has discovered a vulnerability in FreeWPS, which
can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a vulnerable
system.
It is possible to upload arbitrary files via the
"htmlarea/popups/ImageManager/images.php" script by defining the
"upload" and "dirPath" parameters. This can e.g. be exploited to
upload a malicious PHP script to a location inside the web root.
The vulnerability has been confirmed in version 2.11. Other versions
may also be affected.
SOLUTION:
Restrict web access to "htmlarea/popups/ImageManager/images.php".
