DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in F-Secure Anti-Virus for Linux,
which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS, or
compromise a vulnerable system.
The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error in the Kaspersky
Anti-Virus (KAV) scan engine used by the product.

The vulnerability has been reported in version 4.50. Prior versions
may also be affected.
SOLUTION:
The KAV scan engine has reportedly been fixed via a signature update
after July 2005.
