DESCRIPTION:
Josh Bressers has reported a security issue in ntpd, which can cause
ntpd to run with incorrect group permissions.
The security issue is caused due to an error in handling the "-u"
command line option when the group name is specified using a string.
This causes ntpd to run with the gid of the user instead of the
group.
SOLUTION:
The security issue has been fixed in version 4.2.0b.
