WebMod 0.x (Half-Life Dedicated Server plugin)
http://secunia.com/product/4666/
DESCRIPTION:
Kevin Masterson has reported a vulnerability in the WebMod plugin for
Half-Life Dedicated Server, which can be exploited by malicious people
to cause a DoS (Denial of Service) or potentially compromise a
vulnerable system.
The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error in the handling
of POST data in "server.cpp". This can be exploited to cause a
heap-based buffer overflow by supplying more POST data than the value
of the "Content-Length" HTTP header.
Successful exploitation may allow execution of arbitrary code.
The vulnerability has been confirmed in version 0.47. Prior versions
may also be affected.
SOLUTION:
Update to version 0.48.
