Here's a readme you could start with:

    ssh.el is an interface for Emacs 19 and XEmacs which allows you to run
    connections inside emacs buffers.  If the remote host allows you to
    connect via ftp, remote directory tracking and file name completion is
    also available.

    To use it, just load the file and then start it with ``M-x ssh''.

    The most recent copy of this program is always available at
    ftp://alpha.gnu.ai.mit.edu/friedman/emacs-lisp/ssh.el
