In this area and the one described below, .ZIP files were created with PKZIP
version 2.04g, and .gz files were created with GNU ZIP. .ps files are
postscript files, .txt are ASCII text, and .exe files are MS-DOS executable
files. Files available here include (among others):
crypte11.zip -- MS-DOS user friendly file encryption, security depends on
key length (very long keys recommended).
cryptmpj.zip -- Mike Johnson's master's thesis in ASCII, plus PASCAL source
code and an executable program defining the MPJ Encryption
Algorithm.
mpj2d100.zip -- Demo program for MPJ2 encryption algorithm with ASCII
description of algorithm and C++ source code for the cipher
itself.
mpj2ieee.zip -- ASCII and Postscript prepublication versions of an article
defining the MPJ2 Encryption Algorithm.
mpj2ieee.txt.gz -- ASCII version of article defining the MPJ2 Encryption
Algorithm.
mpj2source.gz -- ASCII file with source code for MPJ2 cipher.
onepad11.zip -- Short C++ program with source that implements the classic
one time pad algorithm.
pgplegal.zip -- Description of some of the legal issues with PGP. PGP code
is available here for academic and personal use only. For
commercial use, get a copy of Viacrypt PGP, which is
licensed to use both the RSA and IDEA algorithms.
rsaref.zip -- RSA reference library with source code. See enclosed
license file.
ripem107.exe -- MS-DOS executable for a privacy enhanced mail
implementation.
Please note: encryption software distributed in this directory are EXPORT
CONTROLLED and are available via anonymous FTP to U.S. persons only. Public
Domain (in the ITAR definition) descriptions of encryption algorithms are
available for distribution without limitation. Note that some of the
export controlled software distributed outside the USA, and that most of it
is available with no restrictions from other sites, so people outside the USA
should get this data there instead. If you have questions on U. S. Export
controls, please contact the U. S. Department of State, Office of Defense
Trade Controls at 703-875-6644.
If you acknowledge that:
1. You will abide by the terms and conditions of each software
package that is distributed here;
2. The computer to which you are requesting that the program be
transmitted is located in the United States of America; and
3. You are a United States citizen or a permanent resident of the
United States,
then change to the following directory:
NO_EXPORT/USA_8390q.2
This is a time-dependent directory. Check this file again if you can't
find the directory.
