          AUSCERT FTP/WWW server now available.

The Australian Computer Emergency Response Team would like to announce the
availability of its FTP and World Wide Web server.

The anonymous FTP service will provide access to
        - AUSCERT advisories
        - security tools and utilities
        - a mirror of the CERT archive
  - AUSCERT registration form and brochure
        - other security related information

It features local mirroring of international ftp sites such as COAST and
CERT, providing faster access for Australian sites.

It can be accessed by anonymous ftp from ftp.auscert.org.au .

The URL for the Web pages is http://www.auscert.org.au .  The pages
are still a little sparse, but will gradually be filled out over time.
They include 
  - general information
  - AUSCERT advisories
  - technical papers
  - details on how to register with AUSCERT.
