NOTES: This is a dual NAM unit.
The ESN prefix is 136 decimal & 88 hex.
Panasonic: 201-392-6053


NAM PROGRAMING:

1. Turn power on.

2. Within 20 seconds enter * 0 # 0 * 0 # 0 * 1 for NAM 1
or * 0 # 0 * 0 # 0 * 2 for NAM 2.

3. Each data entry can be looked at by pressing RCL followed by the
location (step) number below.

4. To store new data enter the value, press STO followed by the location
(step) number below. For example to enter a system ID of 00031 enter
00031 STO 01. Data can be entered or reviewed in any order.

5. At any time press STO * * to complete programing.

6. Press END to exit.

1. Suggested entry is: 11000000.

Bit 7/Digit 1 = Local use Mark
Bit 6/Digit 2 = MIN Mark
Bit 5/Digit 3 = Not Used
Bit 4/Digit 4 = Not Used
Bit 3/Digit 5 = Not Used
Bit 2/Digit 6 = Horn Alert
Bit 1/Digit 7 = Radio Mute
Bit 0/Digit 8 = Not Used

2. Suggested entry is: 00010100.

Bit 7/Digit 1 = Not Used
Bit 6/Digit 2 = Built in Monitor
Bit 5/Digit 3 = Auto Lock
(if set to 1 and unlock code is unknown phone will NOT enter program mode.)
Bit 4/Digit 4 = Full Lock
Bit 3/Digit 5 = Not Used
(Enable only one of the following)
Bit 2/Digit 6 = Allow user A/B select
Bit 1/Digit 7 = Preferred system only
Bit 0/Digit 8 = Home system only (no Roam)

3. Suggested entry is: 11000111.

Digit 1 = Received call indicator
Digit 2 = Continuous DTMF
Digit 3 = Not Used
Digit 4 = Dial Lock
Digit 5 = Not Used
Digit 6 = Enable permanent timer (FCN 1)
Digit 7 = Enable resetable timer (FCN 2)
Digit 8 = Enable individual call timer


READING ESN FROM HANDSET:

1. Power up phone as above.

2. Enter * 0 0 0 0 #.

3. Press * 3 SND.

4. Press 1 1 SND, phone will display decimal ESN, note that the leading
"1" of the 136 ESN prefix will be omitted as the phone only has a ten
digit display capacity.

LOCK: F 3 2 = Dial Lock, F 3 1 = Send lock, F 3 0 = Full lock

UNLOCK: Enter two to four digit code.


A/B SYSTEM SELECT:

1. Phone will default to preferred/non-preferred on every power up.

2. A only: F 7 2

3. B only: F 7 3

4. Home only: F 7 4
