CERT Coordination Center advisory CA-97:03 reports a vulnerability
in IRIX csetup.

This vulnerability allows to ultimately gain root privileges.

This advisory provides not yet information on a vendor patch, but a workaround
is described.

CERT-NL recommends application of this workaround.

Additional information with regards to this vulnerability is placed in
the README file associated with the advisory. You are encouraged to check
on README file updates regularly. You can automate that process by using
