This webpage contains a link to a zip file. The zip file contains the files for the public
version of an Electronic Civil Disobedience Virtual Sit-in website and instructions for
customizing those files for your own ECD action.
Please take responsibility for your Virtual Sit-in action, by using your real name in your
call for participation. In your announcement you should identify yourself, state the
date/time/duration of your action, and state the reason for selecting your target.
It is also advisable for you to see that the administrator for the server that will host
your Virtual Sit-in understands what this ECD action is, and that the risk to the host
server is minimal. There is no risk to the host server from the Virtual Sit-in code,
however we can not predict countermeasures that may be used by your target.
1. Download the Disturbance Developer's Kit zip file.
2. Create a new folder. Unzip the zip file into the new folder.
3. Open ddkinst.htm.
This webpage has the instructions for customizing your ECD action. It is not linked to the
Virtual Sit-in at all. It only provides the customization instructions.
4. Follow the instructions in ddkinst.htm.
5. Once your customization is done, ftp them to your Virtual Sit-in host server.
Make sure no file names change. Make sure to load the Classes folder in the same directory
on the server as the other Virtual Sit-in files. Check that the names of the files in the
Classes folder have not changed.
All of these file names are case sensitive. Here is the list of the files with the exact
names as they must exist in the Virtual Sit-in folder on the host server:
