DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in IBM System Storage SAN Volume
Controller and Storwize V7000, which can be exploited by malicious
people to bypass certain security restrictions.
The vulnerability is caused due to the application not properly
restricting access to administration GUI, which can be exploited to
bypass authentication mechanism and e.g. modify configurations.
The vulnerability is reported in versions 6.1, 6.2, 6.3, and 6.4.
SOLUTION:
Apply SVC/V7000 PTF level 6.4.1.3.
