DESCRIPTION:
Multiple weaknesses have been reported in Apache CloudStack, which
can be exploited by malicious, local users to disclose sensitive
information.
1) An error exists due to the createSSHKeyPair API command storing
the newly created SSH private key in the log files, which can be
exploited to disclose the keys.
2) The AddHost API call logs certain information in a log file, which
can be exploited to disclose the password of the added host.
3) The DeployVM and ResetPasswordForVM API calls log certain
information in a log file, which can be exploited to disclose the
password of the added VMs.
Successful exploitation of this weakness requires that VMs take
support password management by CloudStack.
The weaknesses are reported in version 4.0.0.
SOLUTION:
As a workaround set the log threshold to "WARN" or higher.
