DESCRIPTION:
Two vulnerabilities have been reported in Astium, which can be
exploited by malicious people to conduct SQL injection attacks and
cause a Denial of Service (DoS).
1) An unspecified error when processing certain packets can be
exploited to crash the astiumd process via specially crafted packets
sent to port 5655.
2) Input passed via the "user_name" POST parameter to en/logon.php is
not properly sanitised before being used in a SQL query. This can be
exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.
The vulnerabilities are reported in version 2.1 (build 25399). Other
versions may also be affected.
