DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in TWiki, which can be exploited by
malicious users to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).

The vulnerability is caused due to the application improperly
validating the "%MAKETEXT{}%" macro, which can be exploited to e.g.
cause excessive memory consumption by passing an overly large value
to the macro.

The vulnerability is reported in the following versions:
- TWiki-5.1.0 through TWiki-5.1.2 (TWikiRelease05x01x00 through
TWikiRelease05x01x02)
- TWiki-5.0.x (TWikiRelease05x00x00 through TWikiRelease05x00x02)
- TWiki-4.3.x (TWikiRelease04x03x00 through TWikiRelease04x03x02)
- TWiki-4.2.x (TWikiRelease04x02x00 through TWikiRelease04x02x04)
- TWiki-4.1.x (TWikiRelease04x01x00 through TWikiRelease04x01x02)
- TWiki-4.0.x (TWikiRelease04x00x00 through TWikiRelease04x00x05)

SOLUTION:
Update or upgrade to TWiki-5.1.3 (TWikiRelease05x01x03) or apply
patch (please see the vendor's advisory for details).
