DESCRIPTION:
Kingcope has reported a vulnerability in SSH Tectia Server, which can
be exploited by malicious people to bypass certain security
restrictions.
The vulnerability is caused due to an error in the SSH USERAUTH
CHANGE REQUEST function when handling "old-style" password
authentication. This can be exploited to reset the password of any
user and bypass the authentication process.
The vulnerability is reported in versions 6.0.4 to 6.0.20, 6.1.0 to
6.1.12, 6.2.0 to 6.2.5, and 6.3.0 to 6.3.2 running on Unix/Linux
platforms only.
