DESCRIPTION:
Some vulnerabilities have been reported in the Formhandler extension
for TYPO3, which can be exploited by malicious users to conduct SQL
injection attacks and by malicious people to conduct cross-site
scripting attacks.
1) Certain unspecified input is not properly sanitised before being
returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML
and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected
site.
2) Certain unspecified input is not properly sanitised before being
used in SQL queries. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries
by injecting arbitrary SQL code.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability requires Editors rights
to the Formhandler backend module.
The vulnerabilities are reported in versions 1.4.0 and prior.
SOLUTION:
Update to version 1.4.1.
