DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in HP iNode Intelligent Client,
which can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a vulnerable
system.
The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error in
iNOdeMngChecker.exe when handling packets of type 0x0A0BF007 and can
be exploited to cause a stack-based buffer overflow.
Successful exploitation allows execution of arbitrary code with
SYSTEM privileges.
The vulnerability is reported in versions prior to 5.1 Patch Kit
E0304.
SOLUTION:
Apply Patch Kit E0304.
