DESCRIPTION:
Multiple vulnerabilities have been reported in Microsoft Windows,
which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of
Service) and compromise a vulnerable system.
1) An error within netapi32.dll when handling Remote Administration
Protocol (RAP) responses can be exploited to cause the service to
stop responding.
2) A format string error within the print spooler service can be
exploited via a specially crafted response.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow execution of
arbitrary code.
3) An error within netapi32.dll when handling Remote Administration
Protocol (RAP) responses can be exploited to cause a heap-based
buffer overflow.
4) An error within browser.dll when handling Remote Administration
Protocol (RAP) responses can be exploited to cause a stack-based
buffer overflow.
Successful exploitation of vulnerabilities #3 and #4 allows execution
of arbitrary code.
SOLUTION:
Apply updates.
