DESCRIPTION:
Multiple vulnerabilities have been reported in Adaptive Server
Enterprise, which can be exploited by malicious users to bypass
certain security restrictions and by malicious people to bypass
certain security restrictions and compromise a vulnerable system.
1) An error related to DBCC can be exploited to bypass certain
security restrictions.
2) Two errors when creating proxy tables can be exploited to bypass
certain security restrictions.
3) Two unspecified errors can be exploited to execute arbitrary Java
code.
4) Two unspecified errors can be exploited to bypass certain security
restrictions by executing a Java method.
5) An unspecified error can be exploited to bypass certain security
restrictions by executing sp_setreptable.
6) An error when creating an index can be exploited to bypass certain
security restrictions.
7) An error when creating a table can be exploited to bypass certain
security restrictions via the ASE plugin for Sybase Central.
8) An error when modifying a table definition can be exploited to
bypass certain security restrictions.
9) An unspecified error can be exploited to bypass certain file
system security restrictions via Java code.
This vulnerability only applies to Windows platforms.
The vulnerabilities are reported in versions 15.0.3 and later.
