VUPEN Vulnerability Research Team discovered a critical vulnerability in Microsoft Internet Explorer. The vulnerability is caused by a use-after-free error within the "vgx.dll" component when processing certain VML behaviors, which could be exploited by attackers to compromise a vulnerable system by tricking a user into visiting a specially crafted web page.

included as part of the Microsoft Windows line of operating systems with
more than 60% of the worldwide usage share of web browsers." (Wikipedia)


II. DESCRIPTION
---------------------

VUPEN Vulnerability Research Team discovered a critical vulnerability
in Microsoft Internet Explorer.

The vulnerability is caused by a use-after-free error within the
"vgx.dll" component when processing certain VML behaviors, which could
be exploited by attackers to compromise a vulnerable system by tricking
a user into visiting a specially crafted web page.
