DESCRIPTION:
SecureWorks has reported multiple vulnerabilities in Cisco IronPort
Web Security Appliance, which can be exploited by malicious people to
conduct spoofing attacks.

1) The appliance does not validate the revocation status of an SSL
certificate via a CRL (Certificate Revocation List) or an OCSP
(Online Certificate Status Protocol) responder. This can be exploited
to conduct spoofing and interception attacks by using a revoked
certificate.

2) An error when validating the "basicConstraints" parameter of
certificates in the certificate chain can be exploited to spoof
certificates of arbitrary domains and disclose encrypted information
e.g. by using a Man-in-the-Middle (MitM) attack.

3) An error when validating the fingerprint of certificates can be
exploited to spoof certificates of arbitrary domains and disclose
encrypted information e.g. by using a Man-in-the-Middle (MitM)
attack.

SOLUTION:
Currently there is no known workaround.
